11 AM - 12 PM: Palestinian children and moms present vision of peace to Congress
- 14-year-old Lama and her mother traveled through the blockade from Gaza City.
- 11-year-old Ahmed, his mom, and 16-year-old Aysar have come from the Palestinian Village of Susiya, a village under demolition orders. The young people will present their Pinwheels for Peace

During our Facebook Live Event, English and Arabic-speaking moderators will be on-hand to answer questions and respond to your comments during the briefing. There will be a Q&A portion of the briefing where questions from our Facebook Live audience will be answered by our speakers if time allows.

Here is the invitation to Palestinian communities to ask them to participate in Pinwheels for Peace and send one child and their mother or father to our fourth annual #ICareAboutPeace Palestinian Children's Briefing to Congress.  In honor of International Peace Day, we asked everyone’s help to bring Palestinian children from villages at risk of demolition in the West Bank and from Gaza to present their Pinwheels for Peace. All U.S. visas have come through! Our #ICareAboutPeace Palestinian Children's Briefing to Congress is being scheduled for early February, 2019!
