The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for The Rebuilding Alliance Web site, www.RebuildingAlliance.org.

The Information We Collect and How We Use It
Two types of information are collected:

1.Personal, or "individually identifiable" information you provide to us when you press the Donate Now button; and
2.Standard Web server/visitor traffic information, commonly referred to as "aggregate information," regarding overall Web site traffic patterns. Web servers typically collect this type of basic information as part of their Web log processes.
We do not report on individual user sessions.

Individually Identifiable Information
Our site uses a contribution form to enable donors to support our cause or register to host a house party fundraiser on behalf of The Rebuilding Alliance. We collect contact information (such as name, mailing address, phone number, and email address) and financial information (credit card numbers and expiration dates). Contact information is used to send donor acknowledgements and follow-up advice about how to schedule a house party, and the overall progress of the campaign. Users may opt out of receiving future mailings; see the "Choice/Opt-Out/Corrections" section below. The financial information that is collected is used solely to process the donation. We process standard credit card information (card number, card type, expiration date) via a secure, encrypted SSL session provided by egrants.org. SSL is the proven standard for secure Web messaging transactions.

Aggregate Information
In addition to information provided by our visitors, we use the normal Internet tracking tools associated with standard Internet protocols and Web-based systems. This system information is typically stored in log files and the information is used for aggregate reporting. Aggregate reporting includes: total number of visitors, most visited section, peak traffic times, etc. Log files are simply transaction records Web servers maintain. We do not report on individual user sessions.

We use aggregate information gathered from your visit to better design our Web site. This information supplies us with a road picture of how people use our Web site in order to help the management of our systems and to better serve our audience.

Donation Information
We maintain records of all contributions to The Rebuilding Alliance. Personal information is private and confidential, and all information is stored in a secure location accessible only by authorized staff.  Sponsoring NGO partner organizations, such as the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, have access to the mailing list that responds to their appeal.  We provide them with such access in an effort to build capacity with each of our Sponsoring NGO partners.
