From the Executive Director.....
“Why do we even have a page about our team? Because we draw inspiration from one another, courage too. We hope you will join us, in a spirit of justice and understanding.”Donna Baranski-Walker Executive Director |

From the Chairman of the Board...... “RA's mission, broadly stated, is to recognize housing as a human right, based in international law. We seek to give meaning to that right by rebuilding housing that has been destroyed during war or occupation, as well as informing political discourse and thinking. Hence, we aim to be promoters of both peace and human rights, and we see these issues as closely related. We welcome you to our website, and encourage your participation in our efforts. Whether it be participating in teleconferences, holding a house party, urging your legislator to use influence, working on an RA committee, or contributing funds, there are many ways to get involved. Together, we can help protect the human right to housing and community, even in zones of war and occupation, and help build peace.” Alan Kaufman Chair, Board of Directors, Rebuilding Alliance |

Most recent post from the Teamblog..... This summer, The Rebuilding Alliance (TRA) is excited to have new volunteers join us to advance our mission: rebuilding communities and making them safe! I had the honor of interviewing architect Reem Farhat. She brings her considerable talent and expertise to TRA’s “Rachel Corrie Rebuilding Campaign in Gaza.” |
