Annual Eid Clothing Drive

for Gaza Children

Help provide an Eid outfit for a child, including shoes

Eid is a joyful and exciting time for Muslim children. Muslim children, like other children, want a special outfit for Eid when they meet their family and friends. Unfortunately, due to poverty, most children cannot have new clothes on Eid. Our partner NGOs based in Gaza identify children from the most marginalized families in their area. These also include children with disabilities and a rare genetic condition, PKU.

Past Eid Campaigns

Thanks to your support, we have given children in Gaza the opportunity to choose their Eid clothes. These children and their parents went shopping at a local store to select Eid clothes and a pair of shoes.

  • In 2025, your kindness provided Eid clothing and shoes to 1,120 children across Gaza.

  • In 2023, 538 children, including 109 children with Phenylketonuria (PKU) and 92 disabled children, went to shop for Eid outfits and shoes during the Ramadan week before Eid.

  • In 2022, 440 children went shopping for Eid outfits and shoes a week before Eid.

  • 200 children were able to choose an Eid outfit in 2021, right before the bombing started.

About Eid

Eid ul-Fitr (Feast of Breaking the Fast) is a holy festival for Muslims celebrated to mark the end of Ramadan. It is celebrated with love and kindness for family, friends, and the community. Shopping for Eid clothes is an important tradition. As Eid approaches, market areas bustle with people buying clothes for Eid and gifts for their loved ones.
