Gaza Emergency Relief Fund

Severely malnourished children in Gaza urgently need nutritious food-and so do their families. Help to deliver emergency food parcels every two weeks to the families of 500 severely malnourished children.

Rebuilding Alliance's long-time partner, Ard El Insan pediatric group, is treating 500 severely malnourished children with special supplements. So far, Rebuilding Alliance has delivered two rounds of food parcels directly to these 500 families -help feed them again.

Here's how it works

(1) Our partner, Ard El Insan Pediatrics Association, provides a list of 500 parents of acutely malnourished children

(2) Our team buys locally from a trusted supplier  in local markets

(3) We call them to ask them to arrange the next day pickup/delivery.

Note: We do not pay money changers- our supplier pays producers through bank transfers. Your recurring donation will help children and families step back from life-threatening malnutrition.

Hot Meals Program during Gaza War

For 1 year and 7 months, from November 2023 until May 31, 2025, Rebuilding Alliance’s kitchen teams fed tens of thousands of people every day in Gaza. In total, as of May 31st, our community kitchens served 22.5 Million meals.

Up until May 31st, our eight remaining kitchens were serving 27,000 meals each day, across Gaza. They were forced to stop when food supplies finally ran out. No rice. No lentils. No oil. Nothing to cook with.

Our teams held on as long as they could. Even when bombings shook the ground around them. Even when they faced displacements, one after another. Even when they had to make impossible choices about who to feed first. But now, they can’t cook anymore. Because aid is barely coming through, and families are starving.

To respond to the growing needs of Gaza families when the war began in October 2023, Rebuilding Alliance, which was already serving 4000 hot meals per week, expanded its hot meals program. Our kitchens were operated by local community-based organization partners.

Our kitchens persevered under siege. Our brave CBO partners and their staff members and volunteers cooked through extreme hardship and danger. They continued operating even when ingredients were scarce, cooking with whatever was available locally or provided from the World Food Programme.

Still, we are not giving up. While our kitchens can no longer operate, our team in Gaza continues to provide food parcels to families with children who are severely malnourished.
