Nearly 2 million people are struggling with hunger, fear, and uncertainty
While the world watches in silence, Gaza is screaming for help. Nearly 2 million people are struggling with hunger, fear, and uncertainty. There is no safe place, no stable shelter — only destruction, displacement, and dread. Suffering is beyond words. People live with the constant fear that they or their loved ones will be the next victims of airstrikes.
Food and clean water are scarce. A single onion, weighing just 250 grams, is sold for $10 in some areas. Parents watch their children grow weak from malnutrition because they cannot afford basic food like vegetables. Skin rashes, infections, and diseases like scabies are spreading due to contaminated sand and swarms of mosquitoes and fleas.
One person in Gaza said: " We are not asking for much, we just want the war to stop. Until the war stops, hope rests on the limited supplies left — a tomato, a potato, maybe a piece of bread. The essentials of life have become luxuries. But we believe that, once the borders open, there will be some relief, God willing."
Today and for the first time since March 2nd, five humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza today — instead of the nine that were originally scheduled. The aid included food supplies specifically for infants. While this is a small glimmer of hope, it remains just a drop in the ocean compared to the massive needs on the ground. With over 2 million people suffering from hunger in Gaza, this limited aid is far from enough.
