Annual Ramadan Food Drive

Rebuilding Alliance started its Ramadan Food Drive in 2018 with 50 families only. Because of your support, we have been serving more and more families since then in Gaza and the West Bank. During the holy month of fasting, our team provides families in need with food parcels filled with food supplies to keep them nourished. Each parcel has enough to feed a family of 5–6 people for about two weeks.

2025 Ramadan Food Drive

Thanks to you, 1000 families in Gaza were able to observe Ramadan with dignity. Rebuilding Alliance delivered Suhour (pre-dawn meal) parcels to 1000 families across Gaza at the beginning of Ramadan. 

The people of Gaza experienced another Ramadan under challenging conditions. They lacked the financial resources to afford even basic food, even during Ramadan. During the brief ceasefire, hundreds of trucks entered Gaza daily carrying desperately needed goods. Rebuilding Alliance acted fast to secure food supplies. With border crossings closing again on March 2nd and humanitarian aid being blocked, these food parcels became a vital lifeline for families in need.

2024 Ramadan Hot Meals Program in Gaza

Thanks to your support, Rebuilding Alliance, in partnership with the World Food Programme, was able to serve 2.4 MILLION MEALS in Gaza— just during Ramadan! That's a total of 2,465,358 hot meals served to displaced families in Gaza from March 11th to April 9th. That's an incredible accomplishment, and it wouldn't have been possible without your generosity. Our kitchens operated in a number of locations in Gaza, including Rafah, Mawasi, Khan Younis, Dair al Ballah, Nusirat, Maghazi and Gaza City.

Despite facing personal losses and challenging situations, our cooking teams worked long hours with limited resources to provide meals to others while fasting. They adjusted their cooking schedules and cooked close to iftar time—serving meals in the mornings and evenings. Their efforts were truly commendable and we thank them for their selflessness and dedication.

2023 Ramadan and Easter Food Drive in Gaza and the West Bank

Thank you for caring for 1350 Palestinian families this Ramadan and Easter. A thousand needy families received food boxes in the North and South of Gaza, 250 families in the Masafer Yatta area received food boxes, and in the Bethlehem area 100 families in need received food boxes too. That means over 8,100 people received 2 weeks of nutritious food!
