Our team in Gaza has launched the sixth round of food parcel deliveries to PKU patients across the Gaza Strip.
Great news! Our team in Gaza has launched the sixth round of food parcel deliveries to PKU patients across the Gaza Strip. On Friday, August 1st, they began delivering in northern Gaza, distributing 45 parcels. On August 2nd, they delivered an additional 24 parcels. On August 4th, 78 patients in Khan Younis received fresh vegetables. Each parcel contains a variety of fresh vegetables, including eggplants, okra, sweet potatoes, and turnips.
During the food parcel distribution, our team met the father of Menna, Shahd, and Donia. He expressed his gratitude for the parcel they received last month. He explained that they need a continuous supply of vegetables due to the complete lack of access to the specialized PKU-friendly flour and formula that his daughters urgently require for their condition. "Even the little we received made a difference. Thank you for not forgetting us," he said.
He explained how hunger has affected his daughters' physical and mental health. "They’ve become more anxious and agitated," he said. "There’s constant crying, shouting, and breaking things... they’re just so hungry."
With no source of income, he can't provide the critical nutrition his daughters require. Your support is essential. Help us provide life-saving food parcels to children with PKU in Gaza.
