Ibn Rushd Library: A Space to Learn and Create
Thanks to your support, the Ibn Rushd Library kept creating spaces in July where children could learn, imagine, express themselves, and connect with others — even while fear and uncertainty continued to shape daily life.
One of the month’s highlights was an animation workshop on safety. Young girls from Tayasir and Al‑Aqaba learned how to recognize dangerous objects, including explosive remnants of war, and how to protect themselves. They then brought their lessons to life by making clay characters and educational videos to share with their families and community.
Attendance did decline, as many mothers were still afraid to let their children move freely around the village. Even so, the library remains a place where children can learn, create, and feel connected.
