‘I Care About Peace’ Webinar 1: Visions of Peace from Gaza’s Youth

As part of our 10th Annual “I Care About Peace” Briefing: Palestinian Youth Speak About Peace with Congress, Rebuilding Alliance held the first webinar on August 25, 2026. Youth and teachers joined us live from Gaza to share their experiences, their visions of peace, and their hopes for a future built on safety, dignity, and justice.

Earlier, teachers in Gaza City and Khan Younis organized a Pinwheels for Peace activity to encourage children and youth to share what peace means to them. One youth shared: “I don’t want young people in Gaza to be remembered only as a generation that survived war. I want us to be recognized as the generation that helped create a different future.”

Each week, Rebuilding Alliance will host a webinar featuring an at‑risk Palestinian village or neighborhood. The series will culminate in our 10th Annual I Care About Peace Briefing: Palestinian Youth Speak About Peace with Congress, which will take place via Zoom in September.

In the second episode of this series, children, local teachers, leaders, and activists will share their stories, hopes, and visions for peace. Join us for Episode 2
