Distributing food parcels to 496 families with malnourished children

With every new displacement, Baby Wateen grows weaker. At just one year and four months old, she suffers from acute malnutrition — because of constant displacement, the destruction of her home in eastern Gaza, and the complete absence of food and safe shelter.

“There’s no food, no cooking supplies… we move from one place to another every day,” her mother told us, holding Wateen close. “I can’t even provide them with the basics.”  Wateen’s father, who is blind, cannot work. Her mother is left to carry the full weight of survival. Wateen and her siblings are living in conditions no family can endure.

Wateen is just one of thousands of children in Gaza facing acute malnutrition. Rebuilding Alliance is distributing food parcels to 496 families with malnourished children. Each parcel is a lifeline. A small chance to ease hunger. A message that they are not forgotten.
