Mira looks much younger than her actual age. Mira looks much younger than her real age. It’s not because she’s small it’s because she’s suffering. Severe malnutrition has stunted Mira’s growth and delayed her development. Her tiny frame is the result of months of hunger and deprivation. “We’ve lost everything, our home, my work,” her father told us...his voice full of grief. “I watch my daughter grow weaker every day, and I can’t do anything.” Displaced by war and stripped of any source of income, Mira’s family now faces a brutal reality: hunger is stealing their daughter’s health in plain sight.
