My name is Khadeja and I began working with Rebuilding Alliance in December 2021. I was born and raised in California and decided to move to Palestine after graduating college. I obtained a double bachelors in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies as well as a minor in History from the University of California Davis where I was heavily involved in Palestinian advocacy. I served as president of Students for Justice in Palestine, worked as Senator within student government, and was a part of the Muslim Student Association.
During my final year in university, I conducted a research dissertation centered around economic development in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. I am passionate about sustainable development and economic advancement that is from the ground up. Rebuilding Alliance is an organization that aligns with this passion as all of the projects the organization has implemented are grassroots-based and self-sustaining. Apart from my work with RA, I am also a member of the Global Shapers Community Ramallah Hub, a youth-led organization that works on initiatives that address local issues.
